- 4 dry red chillies
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 pod of wild garlic
- 1 curry leaf sprig
- 1/2 cup chopped Indian onion
- 1/2 inch piece of tamarind
- 3 local tomatoes, chopped
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup freshly grated coconut
- 1/2 cup water
other ingredients
- 500 grams cauliflower florets
- 2 teaspoons sesame oil
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
- 1 curry leaf sprig
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- Peel 2 potatoes and cut them into pieces
- 3 cups water (divided)
- 2 sprigs of chopped coriander
Method To Make Cauliflower Kuzhambu:
- First of all, let us tell you that first start by preparing the paste of roasted spices. Heat oil in a pan on low flame.
- Add cinnamon and a small piece of clove to hot oil.
- After this, add fennel, cumin, coriander seeds, dry red chili, black pepper, garlic, and curry leaves to the pan.
- Fry the spices on low flame for about a minute, taking care that they do not burn.
